Yeah Wine WA United Shiraz (Rose) 2024
Yeah Wine WA United Shiraz (Rose) 2024
Andrew@Yeah Wines: Handpicked Shiraz grapes from the Green Valley vineyard in Forest Grove. Rhys and Kate Fleay do a great job in farming this special patch of vines that produces some of the best Shiraz in Margaret River.
Tasting Notes
Whole bunch pressing and a cool ferment in stainless steel help maintain the delicate aromatics and bright fruit profile. Red berries, crisp acidity and a long, dry finish combine to create a savoury, modern rose. Seriously made, seriously delicious.
Plaudits
A whole-bunch-pressed rosé. Strawberries, tart cranberry notes, rosehip tea, some black tea, too, and a dash of white pepper. Energetic, good texture and a touch of richness, a mesh of steel and chalk to finish. Summery fun, alright. 92 Points. James Halliday.

About Winery
About Winery
You’ve got to admire the creativity of Andrew and Sian Dawson – from the name of their winery to the types of wine they produce, to their labels. It’s good stuff right here, and it won’t cost the earth. This boutique producer is slowly building their reputation in Margaret River.
James Halliday: The first wine Andrew Dawson made under the Yeah Wine label was in ’20 from a parcel of Geographe tempranillo his then-employer turned down. By the end of ’21, he and wife Sian had turned Yeah into a full-time enterprise. Today, the range has swelled to more than 20 wines and fruit is sourced from all over Western Australia.
Generally, the wines are unfiltered/unfined with no adds beyond a touch of sulphur at bottling.
