Voyager Estate Chenin Blanc 2024
Voyager Estate Chenin Blanc 2024
Tim@Voyager: The 2024 season experienced warmer-than-usual temperatures, promoting even and early ripening. Harvesting commenced early and finished before Easter. Chenin Blanc thrived in the warmer conditions, resulting in great ripeness, fruit flavour, and vibrant acidity.
Tasting Notes
Honeydew melon, white floral, straw bale, vanilla.
Bright, fresh, generous fruit, harmonious, textural.
Plaudits
A really pleasing, spicy and fruit-driven offering but certainly not sweet or one-dimensional. It offers more. Honeydew melon, white nectarine (especially the skin), pears and lemon, too. The palate is light, bright, driven by refreshing acidity with a slip of texture, and there’s a savoury aspect. A delicious, drink-now chenin.

About Winery
About Winery
Walking the grounds is akin to drifting through your own dream-like fairytale. The meticulous lawns, artistic hedges, white Dutch inspired architecture and cobblestone paths transport to you to a different time and place. Voyager is one of the big Margaret River three (with Leeuwin and Vasse Felix) so it’s not a boutique hidden gem, but its organic wine is still a fantastic representation of the varietals that Margaret River does so well.
James Halliday.
Voyager Estate is located on Stevens Road in the Boodjidup Valley, which is emerging as hallowed ground (Leeuwin, the western neighbour, Xanadu’s Stevens Road vineyard and the vineyards of Voyager Estate complete the trinity of prestige in this neck of the woods).
As of ’23, the vineyard and winery are certified organic and there is extensive clonal and varietal experimentation in the estate vineyards.
