Ben@Out on a Limb: Made from estate grown Pinot Noir, Burgundy clones 115 and 777; generous aroma, vibrant red fruits, lively long palate, and interesting complexity.

Sustainably grown. Very small batch (only 2000 bottles available). No tractor farming.

Sully Says

Ben Carmody. Mad man, the guy I call Pizza Shop. He has his own little vineyard in the Great Southern. I'm not so sure on the labels but the Pinot is some of the best in the region. Dan Pannel (Head of Picardy) reckons so too.

About Winery

Ben Carmody is the man behind Out on a Limb. I've always known him as Pizza Shop. Wild eyed, uncouth, insane, hilarious. We met out in the surf as teenagers.
We often argue about the his winery name, and definitely about his labels (I reckon he's got to change them) but Dan Pannel (winemaker at Picardy) reckons he's got some pretty good Pinot and Riesling down there. And Dan's a good judge.
